Inspired by Nature, Driven by Neurodiversity
In late 2023, I discovered I’m Autistic and have ADHD (AuDHD). After a lifetime of feeling different, I finally found the answers. Inspired by my also AuDHD daughter, I realised I needed to embrace my authentic self to help her do the same.
My fascination with people led me to study Psychology. I've always wanted to understand why people do what they do.
On my work journey I trained as a Gardener and Forest School Practitioner. These were some of the most rewarding roles I’ve had. Being in nature helped me reconnect with myself and reminded me it’s okay to be different. Just as biodiversity enriches nature, neurodiversity enriches human experience. I plan to bring my coaching outdoors soon – watch this space!
Why coaching?
I fell in love with coaching whilst working as an Assistant Psychologist on an employability project for neurodivergent adults. The coaching I provided perfectly encapsulated a way for me to utilise all of my tools and skills. This felt immensely satisfying; the work I did had a positive impact on my clients and I felt proud to play a part in other people’s journey to employment. I was especially intrigued by Clean Language. Receiving Clean Coaching and being asked Clean Questions as part of my own work place adjustments was life-changing.
